Wallington adventures: John Lavell 07/08/2011
There is a real, I was going to say buzz, but I prefer hum I think, of activity at Wallington (helped along by the fantastic and generous team there) seeing people working around each other, the staff, the public, generating interest in what is going on without either Wallington or the artworks getting 'lost' in the heady mix. I want to share a couple of moments: Adam 'digging in' with the grounds people in the rain. Paul setting up a 'new' home. Cutting my work to size under the public gaze and being asked if I was preparing a needlework template for some sort of restoration? and yes we will be back to see the works.
